Google  Science Fair was started in 2011 to promote innovation among the younger generation.This is a global online competition conducted for students age group 13 – 18 years. The motto of the the fair is to ask Students What do you love and What do you want to change in this dynamic world.If you are a student and have some innovative ideas which can change the world in the below listed Categories then act now.

Register immediately and start working on the project now. This is the right opportunity to give your ideas a real life which can get global visibility and put you into right orbit. The last date for registration is May 12 2014. Google has put some instructions for teachers and parents to motivate their students and participate in the global fair. The ideas can be related to solving some local issues or global issues. The list of projects received will be evaluated and on June 26th 2014 Regional Finalists and Local winners will be announced. On August 6th 2014 Global Finalists will be announced and winner of Science in Action honor award will also be announced. On September 1st 2014 Voting for the best idea will begin and the Grand winner will be announced.

For the grand winner apart from getting global visibility and recognition Google has lined up some great prizes. You will join Virgin Galactic team at Spaceport America in New Mexico as they prepare for space flight and will be among the first to welcome the astronauts back to Earth. You also get to visit the beautiful Galapagos Island in a 10 day trip along with National Geographic team and your school will get a free one year digital subscription for Scientific American magazine.Age category winners can choose between to visit LEGO factory in Billund, Denmark or take a tour of beautiful Google Office or National Geographic.
